Surroundings

GEOGRAPHY: Located at the northeastern tip of Brazil, the capital of Ceara, Fortaleza, rapidly expanding socio-economically, has today 3.5 million inhabitants (Country’s 5th largest city).

CLIMATE: The location close to the Equator results in a constant temperature throughout the year. Seasons are defined by rainfall: wet from February to July, dry from August to January. During the “wet” season however, it normally rains at night and does not last more than a couple of hours. Caponga in particular enjoys a mild climate thanks to the yearlong presence of the gentle trade winds.
